Oostvaardersplassen in the winter

On first Christmas day I went for a walk at the Oostvaardersplassen with my family. It was very crowded as it turned out the ice was thick enough for skating. We didn't bring our ice skates so we just went for a walk through the woods.

There was still quite some snow left, but under the trees there was less. Herds of red deer kept running away from people, but because there were so many people they were running nearly all the time.
