Pencils and seeds

After having seen a picture of some pencils a few weeks ago, I've been wanting to see what I could come up with. The mission turned out to be near impossible! Before I could even start thinking about pictures, I had to sharpen the pencils. Suddenly I remembered how annoying that can be: just when you think you've got the perfect sharp point, it breaks and you can start all over again!

I took some time to experiment with different compositions, but I think I'll have another go at it soon... perhaps with better pencils. :)
