North bank of IJ river in Amsterdam

North bank of IJ river in Amsterdam

Monday August 27, 2018

The north bank of the IJ river used to be a place you wouldn't go to, but since a few years it's being completely renovated and new buildings pop up everywhere. The A'DAM Toren used to be the headquarters of Shell for almost four decades. The lookout area is a popular area for tourists, including a swing that goes over the edge! Below it is a rotating restaurant, giving a 360 degrees view of the area. In the foreground you can also see the EYE film museum.
